Koshkosh Nikolay

Born in eastern Ukraine in 1985.

He studied at the Evangel Theological Seminary. Biblical Institute. While still a teenager, Nikolay became seriously interested in graffiti and tattoos. He worked in various techniques, using canvas, paper, wood, and ceramics as materials. He continues to be engaged in tattooing, considering the work on the skin full-fledged artworks. At the first solo exhibition, there were artworks, done by the artist in 2017-2018, as well as a series of photographs. The first solo exhibition took place at the art4ru museum. Nikolay regularly takes part in Russian and contemporary art fairs. His artworks are in different private collections. He lives and works in Moscow.

He graduated from the Bible Institute, which is reflected in the themes and images that he often uses in his works.

The first solo exhibition was held in 2018 at the art4ru Museum.

Koshkosh has exhibited in Moscow and Copenhagen, with such exhibitions and projects as" High note "in the gallery" Here on Taganka"," 11,11 "in the hybrid space Richter," Red Squre "in the Museum of Modern Art Art4 and" Visit Copenhagen " organized by curator and collector Jens-Peter Brask.

His work has been published in Vogue Russia, L'officiel Russia, Office Magazine (USA), La Repubblica (Italy), TTTism Magazine (UK), Brask Studio Visits (Denmark), KALTBLUT Magazine (Germany), INRUSSIA (Russia).
