Selivanov Aleksandr
Born in 1978.
Since the mid-90s, he was engaged in experimental music, from which he gradually switched to the practice of abstract painting. In 2015, he participated in the Mark Rothko residency in Daugavpils, Latvia. Participant of group exhibitions in Paris, London, Vienna, Kiev and Moscow. Together with Sergey Sapozhnikov, he performed CABARET KULTURA, organized by the V-A-C Foundation and Whitechapel Gallery, London. Participant of the Geometry of Now festival, " White nights "in the framework of the Cultural Alliance project, Moscow. Joint exhibition with Dima Hunzelweg, in the space of the Cube, curator a-s-t-r-a.com Moscow. It was presented at such fairs as Cosmoscow, VIENNAFAIR, Paris Art Fair, London International Contemporary Art Fair. Lives and works in Rostov-on-don.
